exciting news!

Flatiron Studios is pleased to announce that we have a smashing line up of artists scheduled for saturday workshops in May!! We are so honored that the likes of Katie Runnels, Jess Gonacha, and Royal Buffet will each be teaching workshops on printmaking , paper confections and assemblages!

We would like to know a few things from you as we make the final preparations for these and other workshops:

What type of class would you like to take?

Is a 1/2 day class/workshop something you could commit to?

Would you like a 1/2 day class on Saturday morning or afternoon?

Any other thoughts or suggestions?

out of the darkness

this is a new series of paintings by my friend and fellow Flatiron Studios neighbor Teresa Roche....... I am loving the rich darkness of the black, softened by the coppers and golds.....all the little paper sheet music details and the lovely little cream flowers.... and of course you can't go wrong with a sweet little blue bird ..... I am so proud of "T" and her beautiful work....

I was thrilled to receive this fantastic new piece by Nathan Abels in my inbox the other day.... love the concept which comes from his part time work as an aerial photographer where he then turns his photos into drawings! This piece is actually the rooftops of two condo buildings!! I love the geometric designs and the soft neutral palette...........
