meet "leopold"

I just finished this handsome low boy and he just exudes confidence and regality..... thus the name ... thanks kyle! The finish that Leo is wearing is one of my signature colors and I decided to incorporate the original hardware because I liked the lines. The best thing about this color and finish is the versatility it provides ... it goes with anything, anywhere! I'm serious about that clark!

I am very fond of this piece.... and parting will be difficult!

something's hiding in here

couldn't be a bigger fan of this couple and all of the wonderful things they create, so this latest addition to their loft does not disappoint!! I absolutely love the new shelving and all the perfect shades of blue greens and the wall with the graphics...... mmmm mmmmm just too fantabulous!! Way to go S&S!!

meet " jubilee"

happy monday friends!! I hope everybody's week is off to a great start.

I need a little group participation for the first before and after of the week. Teresa and I got together and thought it would be fun to shoot this piece with all different styles of accessories so that you could see how easily you can change things up with just a switcharoo of a piece of art! So , here goes ..... three different looks and three different styles, and I want to hear from you on which one is your favorite look! my goodies

Just thought I'd end the week on a delicious note ...... these are just a taste of the goodness I received {from my sis, and sis in law} during the holidays ......... i truly love them so.

I have been painting my little heart out this week, so guess what that means ........ next week will be full of before and afters! Are ya ready? are ya hootin'? {I've been hootin' all week}

I have made a total of 25 new cake plates this month, and there are some beauties ...... I so enjoy the treasure hunt of finding beautiful plates just waiting to be given a purpose, and creating these timeless functional pieces.

Sometimes when I read all the design blogs and look at magazines, I come across rooms where I like a certain piece in the room or certain accents, but it is rare for me to see a whole room let alone a whole house that I can look at and immediately love everything about it. This house has got the stuff in my book .... style, fun, and function. A perfect mix of all favorite things that you can tell are loved by the inhabitants .

My favorite thing is the yellow chairs with the stenciled words ...... TASTY!

I was so happy to get an email from a sweet college friend this week {whom I haven't seen in years}.... she said she thought of me when she saw these! I love the bird on a wire theme and of course the color scheme is marvelous . Love that gray. very fun.
