As I leave New York today I leave you with some of my sights ........ oh how I love this city ....... we had so much fun;)
cog and pearl
My sister in law and I went exploring in the park slope area of Brooklyn today .... I fell in love with the quaint small town feel and the eclectic wonderful shops and cafe's that abounded!! My favorite was cog and pearl ..... a shop that had awesome ambiance and was chock full of gorgeous handmade goodies from independent artists all over the country. I bought a couple more handmade Christmas gifts!! I'm well on my way to a totally handmade Christmas!!

I was so excited this trip to run into grace....the owner of one of my favorite shops on 9th street!! About a year and a half ago grace and I chatted about opening your own shop and running a small business ...... it was so exciting to see her again and tell her that she was one of my inspirations to go back to Greenville and start knack ..... she also told me that she had opened up a second location in the park slope area of brooklyn!!

Here is a sneak peek of the new window platforms for the studio!! I got them all painted before I left for NYC, and they will be ready to hold a piece of knackage when I get back!! So happy with these guys!
