Good reads!

I have two books to recommend to you today... One is the new book Apartment Therapy featuring real homes, real people, which you can purchase at amazon , or if you want to check it out first, go visit your local Barnes and Noble !! I love to see how people decorate and this book is chock full of goodness!!
The second book is probably one of my all time favorites... Amy Butler's Midwest Modern.... the photography is amazing , the color intoxicating and the inspiration endless!! You can purchase this book at Barnes and Noble, amazon, or on amy's website! I promise these will NOT disappoint:)

Green Day:)

I love the color green and have loved these pictures from domino magazine for some time!! These were from a segment they did on painting rooms, and of course I love the stark contrast and graphic elements of these photos!

Home goods

I have for you today some treats for the home ecky becky!! For those of us who enjoy cooking and the such , here is a way to look fabulous while doing so! I never used to care what my pot holders and dish towels looked like but then people started buying me beautiful vintage ones and ones from places such as Anthropologie, and it became something I treasured, and loved to see hanging in the kitchen at the sink! Marvelous Monday!

I have been wanting to showcase these for a while..... These are recycled milk bottles that have been re-freshed with an awesome graphic and given new life!! This is exactly the kind of thing I try to look for and create myself!! Something ordinary, that was probably just sitting around gathering dust, made new and it has a FUNCTION and purpose!! The icing on the cake with these bottles is that one dollar from every purchase goes towards action against hunger charity..... great stuff, and smart people:) You can purchase these at one of my favorites three potato four ! All the little houses

I am giggling today after finding these awesome little fabric houses!! I saw these on modish yesterday and fell in love!! I looked up the artist and she has an etsy shop!! This amazing lady also has a line of paper she has created as well!! I emailed her immediately about all of her goodies and I will be adding her Little houses to the studio this summer!!
